How our rates work
One guide rate per engagement, fixed in writing before day one. Pick short-term (hourly or daily) or long-term (part-time, full-time or live-in) and you'll see what a typical Bangkok family pays for that role. A 15-minute matching call turns it into a written rate for your exact hours, languages and children's ages — and that written rate is what you pay. Long-term rates are all-in: the carer's pay, our matching and management, and the 90-day replacement guarantee.
The exceptions: newborn night nannies, tutors and pet visits are quoted per night, per hour or per visit. Guests of hosts and hotels book through StayCare. Corporate and relocation packages are quoted per household on one invoice.

Why guide rates instead of a fixed price list?+
Because a nanny for one school-age child on weekdays and a nanny for newborn twins with weekend hours are different jobs. The guide rate tells you the ballpark honestly; the matching call makes it exact, in writing, before you meet anyone. Most written rates land within 10% of the guide.
What does the long-term monthly rate include?+
Everything: the carer's salary and social security, CareRova's matching, contract and payroll, monthly check-ins, cover when they're ill, and the 90-day free replacement. There is no separate placement fee on managed placements.
Can I employ the person directly instead?+
Yes. Placement-only means we do the search, vetting, interviews and trial day, then you employ them directly. The fee is a one-off equal to one month's guide rate, and the 90-day replacement still applies.
How do short-term bookings work?+
Pick the hours or days, we send a vetted carer, you pay CareRova on booking. Minimum four hours. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before; same-day bookings are confirmed within the hour where a carer is available.
Is a trial day charged?+
Yes — the carer is paid for their day at the daily short-term rate, which is deducted from your first month if you go ahead. It's the only test that actually predicts a good match, and everyone takes it more seriously when it's real work.
What about live-in?+
Live-in rates assume a private room and meals provided by the family, six days a week with one full day off, and a maximum of ten working hours a day. If you need different hours, say so on the call and we'll write the rate for that.
When do I pay?+
Short-term: on booking. Long-term: the first month on signing, then a monthly invoice on the 25th. PromptPay, bank transfer or card.
Do chef rates include groceries?+
No — ingredients are bought on your account or reimbursed from receipts. The rate covers menu planning, shopping time, cooking and a clean kitchen afterwards. Dinner parties from ฿5,900 for up to six guests, plus ingredients.
